Vacancy for a Qualified Motorcycle Technician in Nottingham

We are currently recruiting an experienced Qualified Motorcycle Technician to work in our premium franchised dealership at Nottingham. This is an opportunity to become part of an exciting and ever expanding company.

Job Purpose
To diagnose, repair and service the range of products in accordance with work specifications, ensuring each customer receives excellent customer service. Reports to the Workshop Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently diagnosing standard and complex faults and ensuring underlying problems are resolved.
  • Communicate and provide technical explanations to customers in a way that is easily understood
  • Ability to use current diagnostic equipment
  • Stripping, fitting and replacing components on motorcycles, including engine rebuilds.
  • Working to deadlines to ensure that work is completed on time
  • From time to time you will be required to collect breakdowns
  • Accurately complete job cards and reports, including any written descriptions of faults found or repairs completed.

Experience:

Has a minimum of 3 years technical experience with modern Motorcycles. Willing to attend manufacture training. Competent at using ICT, Maths & English. Experience with Harley-Davidson would be an advantage but not essential.

Full UK Driving licence required
